Read All About Your Teacher!

My name is Robin Mistic. This will be my 25th year of teaching at Blackduck School. I have taught 5th grade, 1st grade, 4th grade, and have been in 2nd grade for the past 8 years. I am also a graduate from Blackduck School and have lived here most of my life. I taught first grade in the same classroom I was in when I first moved here from Illinois. 

Questions & Answers with Mrs. Mistic

Q. These are a few of my favorite things:

A: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Dr. Pepper, and chromebooks! Not to mention by whole entire family, whom I love more every day! 

Q. If you weren't a teacher, what would you want to be?

A: I would LOVE to own my own pie shop! I love to bake, and think this would be a fun adventure!

Q. Three little words that describe me:

A: Organized, Industrious, Creative

Q. You get to pick one super power, what is it?

A: SUPER SPEED! I wish I could do everything faster so that I could get more done!

Q. What's your favorite quote or saying?

A: Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent!

Q. Finish the sentence: "___________, said no teacher ever!"

A: "I'm so glad I get done early every day and have the whole summer off to do nothing at all."
               (as I type this during summer vacation)

Q. What is something we might not know about you?

A: My family is very busy in the movie theater industry. We use to own the theater in Blackduck, but now have a theater in Fosston, one in Crookston, and a big one in East Grand Forks. My parents recently bought the River Walk Mall in EGF where the River Cinema is, and are adding a coffee shop and cafe'! It's always fun to go over and visit to see what new things they are doing!  

Q. It's your birthday, you can invite anyone you want, who will you invite? 
A: My Grammy! She is 93 years old and I wish she could come and visit me at my house and see the room where I teach at school. She would love sitting in my back yard in the summer and seeing all my flowers and gardens.
